Climate Week is Coming

Did you know that next week is Climate Week? At Paper Round we’ve got a whole host of things planned throughout the week for us to get involved.
Monday – We’ll be talking about energy saving tips to help stay green and save money at home and at work. To support this we’ll be looking at our electricity usage and what we can do to reduce it.
Tuesday – Two of our Green Team members will be going through our waste to see what could have been recycled. We’ll then use the results to report back to everyone on how we can improve our office recycling rates.
Wednesday – We’re having a “Meat Free Day” where we’ll be bringing in different vegetarian dishes to try and share the recipes.
Thursday – T is for Thursday but also for TRAID! We work with clothes charity TRAID to ensure that textiles are reused or recycled so we’ll be encouraging everyone to bring in and donate those old clothes from the back of the wardrobe.
Friday – There will be a talk from the Managing Director of Carbon Smart about climate change and he’ll be answering our questions on how things are changing and what we can do to help.
