    In up to 750 words, please briefly describe your organisation and/or the organisation you are submitting for, and its approach to recycling, waste reduction and staff engagement. Please include details about: 

    • What key sustainability challenges have been addressed as a tenant, and what goals were set? 
    • How have recycling rates improved and how much waste has been reduced. 
    • How have staff been educated and engaged to use resources more efficiently.  
    • Details of your: Recycling rate (%) and YoY improvement (%), Number of active waste streams, waste volume (kg per FTE) if available, posters and signage use, and events or other engagement activities .  
  • Recognising organisations that have reduced waste, championed sustainable procurement, and implemented innovative circular economy solutions. 

    Categories:

    Procurement only – Organisations that demonstrate strong sustainable procurement practices driving the circular economy. This includes purchasing recycled or circular goods, embedding sustainability into procurement decisions, and finding inventive ways to apply circular economy principles in purchasing processes.

    Waste and procurement – Organisations that integrate both waste reduction and circular procurement strategies to minimise resource use, promote reuse, and create a more circular operational model.

    Procurement Only Question:

    In up to 750 words, please describe your organisation and its approach to sustainable procurement and circular purchasing practices. Please include details about: 

    • How your organisation’s procurement strategy supports the circular economy and reduces environmental impact. 
    • The specific procurement challenges your organisation faced (e.g. supplier availability, cost barriers, internal engagement) and the goals you set to address them. 
    • Examples of how your organisation has prioritised recycled, refurbished, reused, or remanufactured products, and ethical, sustainable sourcing in procurement decisions. 
    • How you have worked with suppliers and stakeholders to embed sustainability and circular principles into purchasing frameworks or contracts. 
    • Details of your measurable outcomes, such as the percentage of sustainable purchases, number of circular suppliers onboarded, or reductions in virgin material use through procurement decisions.

    Waste and Procurement Question:

    • The waste-related challenges your organisation faced and the goals you set to reduce waste and increase resource efficiency. 
    • How you integrate waste reduction and circular economy principles within your operations and procurement processes. 
    • Examples of your reuse, repair, refill, recycling, or circular initiatives, such as using recycled/circular products (e.g. circular office supplies, compost), charity donation partnerships (e.g. Plan Zheroes), or impactful reuse projects in the workplace. 
    • How your procurement decisions have supported waste minimisation (e.g. buying closed-loop products, choosing suppliers with take-back schemes, reducing single-use materials). 
    • Details of your performance data, such as: 
    • Number of new waste streams implemented in the past 12 months 
    • % or kg reduction in total waste produced

  • Recognising organisations that have achieved measurable carbon reductions through waste management, sustainable procurement, and low-carbon initiatives in 2025. 

    Question

    In up to 750 words, please briefly describe your organisation and its approach to carbon reduction. Please include details about:  

    • What were your main carbon-related challenges, and what targets did you set to reduce emissions?  
    • What actions have you taken (e.g. introduction of new recycling streams, adopting low carbon technologies, education activities)? 
    • What are your future plans to continue tackling carbon emissions for your business? 
    • Details of your: percentage reduction in carbon emissions, percentage reduction in general waste, changes in material production (e.g., switching from general waste to recycling) and adoption of low-carbon technologies or services.
