Scope 3 Carbon Reporting

Recorra’s carbon reporting service prides itself on quality and accuracy. We measure your Scope 3 emissions down to the litre of fuel burnt transporting your waste. This client specific method means you only ever report the emissions of your own collections, giving you more control over your data, and reduction strategies. With our ultra-low and no-emissions fleet of HVO-fuelled and electric vehicles, our service provides cleaner air and a significant carbon reduction compared to standard vehicles.

Our reports are compliant with the methodology of the Greenhouse Gas Protocol Corporate Standard, so you can immediately input them into your carbon footprint or inventory. We offer reports on a subscription basis.

Bespoke Calculations

We offer comparative service emissions, based on bespoke calculations of various service arrangements at your site. For instance, if you are thinking of switching to compactor collections instead of bins and want to understand the emissions impact, we can calculate the difference and send you a report.

Reporting the avoided emissions of recycling is one of Recorra’s specialities. These calculations show the emissions savings of making products from recycled materials instead of primary resources. They can be used to communicate the value of your investments in responsible waste management. We use industry-leading and academic sources for our conversion factors and can provide the data within your standard Scope 3 carbon report.

With a circularity assessment, we review and report on the sustainability of each product supplied, then a breakdown of any environmental or quality standards it meets, and provide general advice for improving each product. Each product will be rated so you can compare and assess value for money.
